02What is the difference between a clearspan frame marquee and a traditional marquee?
The main difference is that traditional marquees have central poles. Whilst both can be appointed to the same high degree of finish, with floorings, linings and lighting, there are considerable differences in style and aesthetic appearance between the two.
Anatomy of a pole marquee03How are our marquees different?
We make marquees from canvas. Using it requires skill and dedication. Unlike PVC cloth — from which most companies’ marquees are made — it ‘breathes,’ negating condensation and offering greater comfort in all weathers.
04What happens if our guest numbers change at the last minute?
This is not a problem. Our extensive stock and detailed planning mechanisms allow us the flexibility to accommodate last-minute changes. We want whatever we provide to be right for the occasion.
05Do you only serve the South West?
Based in the heart of Dorset, we operate all over the South West but regularly serve customers across the whole of southern England and the Home Counties.
06Do you operate all year round?
Yes, we are open all year round. Rain or shine!
07How do we know how to use the heating and lights?
Once our team has erected your tent, we will ensure that you have a full understanding of how elements such as the lights and heating are controlled. Our office line is open 24/7 to customers should an issue arise.
08Will we have to pay a deposit or booking fee?
Yes, we usually ask for a booking and administration fee to secure an order; it comprises about 20% of the value we expect your final order to be. It is usually non-refundable and its value is subtracted from your final invoice total.
09Are you insured?
Yes, we hold public and professional liability insurances. Equipment on hire is not automatically insured, but we can advise and offer cost-effective solutions.
